I have just taken over social media management for our organization, Safe & Sound. Prior to my joining, it appears all posts were shared across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter). In the last 3 weeks, I've cut back to our primary focus being Instagram& Facebook, while using LinkedIn for partnership/job posting. I post on FB & IG at least once a day. I'm looking to see how our engagement is, best dates/times to post, and how to increase our reach.
By sharing upcoming events and showcasing past events, we are able to engage with present and future community partners. Our mission is to unite and empower residents of our communities, and that doesn't happen alone. We need to be able to bring together stakeholders, organizers, residents, and youth to fight for safer neighborhoods. By successfully sharing our stories and projects we can shine the spotlight on partners and speak to potential contributors.
