Project details

What we need
  • Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
  • Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
Additional details

We don't currently have a formalized pay structure and the competitive market data we have is a few years old. We have grown significantly in the past two years and need to become more structured, consistent and competitive to ensure we can attract and retain qualified staff now and in future.

What we have in place
  • We currently have job descriptions, salary worksheet, benefit overview booklet, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an employee handbook, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to Crossroads fulfills its mission through our programs and services. These savings mean more nutritious food to our low-income neighbors.

A comprehensive internal review is currently underway to assess organizational structure, current staffing levels, and skill gaps needed to propel the organization into the next phase of growth. This project would be very timely and help us live into those plans.

Our mission

We use a collaborative approach to revolutionize the pantry distribution model through food equity research, client-centered services, and community partner engagement. Our vision is to strengthen families by building nutrition-stable communities.

What we do

Since 2001, Crossroads has nourished people and powered change in Dallas County and surrounding communities. Crossroads believes that when food equity is restored, people will have access to the food they need to live healthier lives and thrive, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty. Crossroads desires to reimagine the intersection between poverty and equitable access to food by building nutrition-stable communities.
