Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

As a non-profit we submit many grants, but we haven't had a refresh in a while and currently do not have a designated grant writer. I don't think we tell our story very well and need help with that.

What we have in place
  • We currently have examples of recent grants written and received, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have organizational history and match stories, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to We can match kids and continue work to enhance our programs for a better impact for our youth.

Today, it's harder than ever to get our work funded. We have also really immersed ourselves in the social and racial justice space and want to reflect that in our grants. We have been working to be inclusive in our programs as well and want to present that in the best way possible. Funders are also unsure how they want to fund moving forward so it's more important to have a good narrative/story so we will be considered when they are providing funding.
