Our mission
The goal of the Aravaipa Watershed Conservation Alliance is to preserve and
sustain the Aravaipa Valley's natural landscapes by means of watershed and
rangeland restoration. The AWCA will create a renewed environment that
supports wildlife, grassroots community education, and a holistic agricultural
environment, all while limiting fragmented lands to promote a complete and
functioning landscape for current and future generations.
Testimonials
Shoshana is so many things, this project was something she had the ability to do and did more than was ask for. She was concerned and listened to all aspects of the AWCA's progress. She was able to create a three phase Excel program that 1) keeps track of everything, 2) allows us to track each grant individually as well and another section to create a specific donor tracking system. The ability run the information at one site and have it available separately for other files is beyond anything we could have found elsewhere. Shoshana was a great asset to the AWCA and a wonderful representative as to what can happen in Catchafire. The Community Foundation of Southern Arizona should be acknowledge too for gifting us the grant to make all of this happen.
