What we need
  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details

We need an illustration to help publicize our upcoming Theatre for Youth show that chronicles the life of the Kim Sisters, who were the first Korean girl group to become famous in the US.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the whole show available in podcast format for you to listen to for reference. We can also supply you with plenty of reference images of the Kim Sisters and illustration examples that we like.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to use more of our resources to engage students through the podcast as we work to continue teaching Asian American history despite the pandemic.

This project will help us share the story of how K-Pop has influenced pop music history for a lot longer than people realize. An illustration will give this project more appeal to younger audiences as well as contextualizing it for our funders and general audiences.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional existing branding or marketing materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with relevant background information on the Organization, mission, and core values

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals, target audience, and how the illustration will be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align expectations for the initial drawings and agree upon a timeline

Milestone 2: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional drafts and presents three concepts for the Organization’s illustration
  • Volunteer Manager chooses a favorite concept and provides up to two rounds of feedback, which the Professional uses to refine the Illustration

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers a final version of the Illustration in digital form
