What we need
- A compelling narrative, or set of stories
- Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
- Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
- Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details
We would like to intentionally curate stories that help us with gifts/grants/donations based on teacher experiences in our field program, Educator Academy in the Amazon, and what they do in their classrooms after two weeks in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest.
What we have in place
- We have pre/post survey data from 5 cohorts of teachers. We also have a retrospective narrative study from three cohorts of teacher participants. We have access to about 150 teachers who have been part of the Educator Academy.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,632 , allowing us to provide a scholarship to an educator to attend the Educator Academy in 2022.
We are working on gifts/grants/donations to raise funds for our young non-profit. We need compelling stories to help prioritize conservation of the Amazon rainforest through education and to show how the experience benefits teachers and their students after the field course.

Our mission
The Morpho Institute supports the key role of K-12 education in realizing the global goal of environmental conservation and sustainability. To achieve this goal, The Morpho Institute provides professional development programs and curriculum resources which support local to global environmental stewardship in K-12 instruction.
What we do
In collaboration with US and international partners, The Morpho Institute provides US educators the opportunity to experience the Amazon rainforest as a compelling context for developing a global perspective on biological and cultural resources, participating in conservation, exploring sustainability, and inspiring environmental stewardship. Our field workshops and resources apply key elements of inquiry, STEM, and placed-based learning to assist educators in making these critical local to global connections in their classrooms, instruction, and curricula.
