What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
What we have in place
- We currently have an existing handbook., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have new hire check list, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to support educational programs
This project will help our organization improve communication with staff and also decrease liability.

4-H Education Center at Auerfarm
Auerfarm's mission is to inspire children and adults to engage in, learn about, and enjoy agriculture, science and the natural environment.
The 120-acres in Bloomfield that was founded by Beatrice Fox Auerbach's is to inspire lifelong learning through hand-on, interactive and innovative experiences that explore science, agriculture and the environment.
The farm is committed to engaging diverse learners of all ages, learning about science, agriculture and the environment. Auerfarm education programs are linked to the Connecticut Early Learning Development Standards (CT ELDS) and the Next Generation Service Standards (NGSS), thus ensuring good academic standards.
