What we need
  • A compilation of research on a specific topic (e.g. industry best practices, literature review, media contacts, industry trends, etc.) including a list of sources
  • Recommendations on areas for further exploration/research
  • Note: This project is not designed to be used for prospect or grant research
Additional details

We are in need of a list that includes:
a) all secondary and higher education institutions in Tennessee by county;
b) whether each institution has a "Green Club", including contact info; and
c) how we may post volunteer/internship opportunities at each campus (i.e. contact info for the career center, jobs posting service, etc.)

  • We do not have a list established.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,239 , allowing us to spend this time and money improving our program services and engage communities throughout Tennessee so we may continue to make positive environmental impacts.

Our mission is to educate and advocate for the improvement of our environment and this project will help us create a wider network in order for us to expand our reach.

Our mission

Helping People and Communities Improve Our Environment

What we do

We encourage volunteers to #bethesolution to improve the environment and give people the tools they need for success. We have a few statewide campaigns: Tennessee Tree Day (an annual native tree-planting event), Generate Some Buzz (planting pollinator gardens at homes and in communities), Come, Post Your Compost (backyard composting community). We offer supplies to get started and tips to maintain these projects. We also educate on how to Recycle Right (to reduce landfill waste and conserve our natural resources). One more program we offer locally is Watershed Support (ground work in stream bank stabilization and restoration projects including tree planting, rain garden planting and installing revetments.) Online resources provided for DIY projects.
