What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

Our website needs to be recreated or significantly updated. It is outdated, so content needs to be made current, relevant, attractive. This may require building from scratch, changing hosting, adding pages and increasing usability.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a website with similar content to use as guideline., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have articles, video, etc. about what our organization is about., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to devote those financial resources to community education, public health events, and toward financing the grocery store development.

Our organization is trying to end food deserts. We have had media coverage, but when people go to our website they aren't able to learn what we need them to know. We need to attract donor, volunteers and others who can assist us with building a grocery store that will help make quality foods more accessible in an underserved community.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
