Project details

What we need
  • Analysis of accounting needs and assessment of Organization’s current accounting practices
  • Recommendations for process improvements for enhanced reporting
  • Recommendations on appropriate bookkeeping system such as a spreadsheet or Quickbooks and related costs (if necessary)
  • Note: This does not include accounting systems set up or implementation
Additional details

We are looking for an accounting specialist with experience working for medical practices. We want to find ways physicians donating time to our community/service could deduct some expenses as charitable contributions:
https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-publication-526. Our plan is to convince more doctors to join us by explaining they can deduct some expenses (use of malpractice insurance, use of medical record system, use of connectivity to pharmacies, etc).

What we have in place
  • We currently have a website and some additional information, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time for meeting with you and explain the project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,564 , allowing us to have a positive impact on the live of 11 million undocumented immigrants living in America.

We need to invite physicians to donate some consultations to their community. If we are able to find a way to make them deduct some expenses, our proposition could become more attractive.

What we do

Because of Covid-19, we have developed a telehealth mobile application that refugees and undocumented immigrants can use to reach doctors that want to help their communities, with total confidentiality while paying pre-negotiated very affordable rates.

Our plan consists of launching our mobile application in the Latino American community of the NY metropolitan area. But our goal is to serve ALL communities in need across the United States, and maybe the World!

Now more than ever, essential workers are making it possible for Americans to stay safe at home now during COVID-19. Many undocumented workers comprise this essential frontline workforce but they have challenges accessing healthcare. They need your help!
