What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

The purpose of a video is to inform our donor base about the necessity of a birth center led by Black, Indigenous & People of Color in DFW. Our hope is that the video will compel our donors and stakeholders to commit to continued giving for the expansion of our work.

What we have in place
  • We currently have several minutes, maybe even hours of raw footage to use., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have voice overs and still frame images and quotes., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to continue the work of providing free prenatal and postnatal care. The cost of this project is the amount needed to cover one birth suite in our new facility.

We are on the brink of launching a 1M capital campaign on Mother's day May 9th. Having a video to launch as well will help bring to life our messaging and compel our donor base to give to such a necessary project.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format

Abide exists to improve birth outcomes in communities with the lowest quality of care by offering healthcare and complimentary services that are easily accessible, holistic, evidence-based and free from judgment.

What we do

We provide prenatal and postnatal care for families in South Dallas and the surrounding areas. Additionally, we offer childbirth education, lactation support, postpartum doulas services and material resources for families in need. We in the process of becoming an Accredited Easy Access Clinic with the JJWay a Commonsense Childbirth Initiative.
