Project details

What we need
  • Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
  • Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
Additional details

With a team of over 80 full-time staff based remotely across the United States, we hope that the work completed through this project will allow our staff to achieve new heights! With an incentive plan, we can encourage our team to take on new responsibilities and encourage them to grow with the organization, allowing us to adapt our collective skills in an ever-changing environment. With less turnover and more incentives, our staff will be able to advance our mission at scale.

What we have in place
  • You will be working directly with the Chief People Officer and will be given access to any information needed to make a recommendation for plan design.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,716 , allowing us to redirect funds toward people facing food insecurity.

The work completed during this project will bolster the efforts of Rise Against Hunger staff, allowing our team to maximize our efforts to increase the lifesaving aid we distribute to the world's more vulnerable and lay the groundwork for achieving our mission at scale.

Our mission

To end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-saving aid to the world's most vulnerable and by creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources.

What we do

Every year, Rise Against Hunger provides millions of nutritious meals and other life-saving aid to children and families all over the world. We engage volunteers around the world in an authentic and powerful experience that connects them directly with the people we serve. Rise Against Hunger collaborates with existing development efforts in vulnerable communities to provide meals to places such as schools, orphanages, nurseries and medical clinics.

Testimonials

(No testimonial has been submitted by Natalie)
This was a great project! I helped develop options with pros and cons, for implementing a variable pay plan. Based on the selected option, I developed a plan document. I enjoyed collaborating with the CPO, and learning about the culture, challenges related to the pandemic, the organization’s vision/mission and the people strategy. These insights were key to developing the variable pay plan. I was able to bring compensation knowledge and insights to the project, through research and previous experience.
