What we need
- Setup of selected accounting software (e.g. Aplos, Araize)
- Training and guidelines on how to manage system and generate basic reports
Additional details
We are seeking a volunteer Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to to support our charity's financial management and administration.
Key responsibilities will be:
-Help us get Xero set up correctly with correct nominals to track income and expenditure across the charity as well as providing data for quarterly management accounts and VAT returns.
-Advise on and implement best practice within Xero to track actual vs forecast.
-Reconcile and post monthly transactions / payments in Xero (25/month)
What we have in place
- We currently have begun Xero implementation, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have 2 volunteers running this day-to-day, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,409 , allowing us to fund climate projects instead
Allows us to better track payments including donations to follow up, and payments for services we provide, saving us time in future
