Social Media Content Calendar

What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

We are currently active on Facebook and Instagram and post content regularly but I would like to increase our engagement and reach, especially on Facebook.

What we have in place
  • We were previously working with a digital marketing firm that helped us establish a content calendar but I am curious to know what content performs well, what times to post that perform well and how we can grow our reach and engagement.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to provide more grief counseling services to children and their families (all of our services are free to families)

Strengthening our social media channels provides us with the opportunity to reach more families who are struggling with the death loss of a loved one

  • Volunteer Manager shares social media credentials and existing marketing materials with Professional
  • (If applicable) Professional audits existing social media account to determine which content types are performing best
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency

Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software

We provide grief support services such as individual counseling, peer support groups, and camps to children ages 3-24 and their families after they experience the death of a loved one. All services provided are always offered at no cost.
