Project details

What we need
  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
Additional details

Need assistance completing an employee handbook because The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawai'i has social work interns, accounting interns, and volunteers helping the foundation.

What we have in place
  • We may have a older employee handbook readily available for the volunteer to review and /or revise.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to put more resource into our programs which help our target population and community of individuals diagnosed with epilepsy in Hawai'i.

An employee handbook is important as it provides standardization of personnel and benefit policies, preventing misunderstandings, complaints and job dissatisfaction out of misinterpretation of personnel and benefit policies by employees.
