What we need
  • Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We are looking for someone to assist us in identifying and fixing deadlinks, as well as provide additional technical support for our website.

What we have in place
  • We currently have beginning list of deadlinks, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a volunteer web team available, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to focus our financial resources on our conservational efforts.

By eliminating deadlinks, we can offer a better user experience while browsing our programs. We expect that, by offering a more user friendly website, our visitors will stay longer, and more easily located the necessary resources.

Saving Sharks For Ocean Health.

Shark Stewards mission is to restore ocean health by saving sharks from overfishing and the shark fin trade, and protecting critical marine habitat through the establishment of marine protected areas and shark sanctuaries.

What we do

We save sharks through science, education and advocacy. We apply the power of the many to save the most endangered sharks and rays through community science, outreach and local, national and international policy.
