Project details
What we need
- A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
- Migration of Organization's current database to Salesforce
- Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
- “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
Additional details
Kinai `Eha, which in Hawaiian means "to extinguish pain" is a small non-profit. Our program serves at-promise youth who have dropped out of high school or are in the juvenile justice system to equip them with educational and workforce development skills and training. We are looking to create a database to manage programming, volunteers, fundraising, and grants. We would like to be able to create reports for funders, supporters, and for our staff to track youth and their outcomes.
What we have in place
- We currently have list of youth & data fields that we want to track, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a non-profit membership with Salesforce, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $22,852 , allowing us to mentor youth to develop soft skills & divert them from the pathway to prison. Pacific Islanders are over-represented among high school dropouts & in the juvenile & adult criminal justice system.
Because we are a relatively new organization we don`t yet have an existing data base, making this opportunity of great importance. By creating a database for the program, it will not only provide for better organization of data, but it will also free up valuable staff time to spend in direct service with youth. By supporting this project as a volunteer, you will be contributing to the work of transforming the lives of our youth.
