  • Training on how to use the spreadsheet to understand the current financial situation and predict future states (e.g., plan for budget increases or decreases, hiring, and other key drivers)

What we have in place
  • We currently have all of financial documents, and projected expenses, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have quickbooks, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $14,474 , allowing us to continue to provide educational resources to community and folk alike. We can continue to provide mutual aid programs that will serve our community.

This project is important because we are a in the beginning stages of forming and making sure our foundation is structured properly is crucial.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current accounting needs and practices, chart of accounts or operating budget, and financial statements currently being generated (e.g,. statement of financial position, statement of activities, or statement of cash flows)
  • Optional: If you are concerned about the sensitive nature of your financial data, have a volunteer sign a non-disclosure agreement

Social Justice For Us is uplifting the voices of marginalized people in Marquette. In rural, predominantly white communities, it's hard to organize any one group for underrepresented peoples, including but not limited to BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and impoverished communities. Oppression is intersectional, so we have created a united front to fight against injustice and to promote education.
