Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

We are looking for a narrative about our project and what it has achieved over the last 4 years. The Storytelling Project seeks to amplify the stories and experiences of people with disabilities in Georgia. Over the last 4 years we have created a documentary film, podcast series, collected over 100 written and photographic stories, and are putting on a roadshow in the summer 2021. We would like a compelling narrative that can be used for our impact report and grants proposals.

What we have in place
  • We currently have summaries, press releases, people who can be interviewed, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time and people, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to focus on our upcoming roadshow while moving towards better storytelling about the project itself!

We are looking to expand our project by securing foundation funding so we can reach more people with disabilities in our state and create policy change! There are currently 7,000 people with disabilities on a waitlist in GA for state supported services. We advocate for additional funding every year to more fully support the people waiting.
