What we need
  • Strategy for using Instagram to engage your community, tailored to Organization’s goals and target audience
  • Training on how to find and post content on Instagram
What we have in place
  • We currently have a project to launch that will rely on Instagram, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a person dedicated to the project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to launch programming that will help us spread awareness of our effort without a large advertising budget.

We are making college guidance accessible to every family working to manage the college and financial aid application process. A successful Instagram campaign will allow Rise Together and Keys to College to share tips and resources with our future audience.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss the Organization’s current approach to Instagram (if any), goals for engagement via Instagram, and ideal target audience
  • Volunteer Manager shares any existing marketing materials and brand guidelines with Professional

Milestone 1: Set up Instagram for Business Account
  • Volunteer Manager shares Instagram credentials with Professional, if an existing account exists
  • Professional sets up account with bio and profile picture

Milestone 2: Develop Engagement Strategy
  • Professional recommends other types of accounts to follow and hashtags to use in order to build follower base
  • Professional recommends types and frequency of content to post on account (including posts, stories, and live videos)

Milestone 3: Content Creation Training
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to capture and/or find images to post on Instagram
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to use Instagram editing tools

Our mission

Rise Together's mission is to counter the ever growing achievement gap by provide 6th-12th grade first-generation, low income students with equal access to educational resources including innovative youth programming, weekly mentorship, academic support and intensive college/financial aid counseling. Rise Together works within city school systems to provide a responsive, collaborative partnership that dramatically extends the reach of educators during in person and COVID-19 remote learning. Well trained and supervised diverse college mentors are the face of Rise Together and are uniquely positioned to guide emerging learners toward academic success and emotional wellness.

Support urban low income students discover their talents and confidence to attend the post secondary school of their choice and live their dream.
