Mission, Vision & Values
Project details
What we need
- Review of existing mission, vision and/or values
- Analysis of the existing programs and any future plans
- Strategic consultation surrounding the existing functions and the core needs the Organization seeks to address
- Freshly written mission, vision & values statements
Additional details
Nia Imani Family needs a clear and concise mission statement that encompasses current and the new enhanced services that goes beyond the assistance with mothers/first time moms.
This should include moms, fathers, and teens- a familial unit.
What we have in place
- We currently have a mission and goals set for the program, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have clear knowledge of what we do, how we do it and why, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,198 , allowing us to improve our message to better reach young mothers and donors who will champion for our mission.
Nia Imani Family has been around for over 20 years, the target population has changed in the past 5 years from mothers dealing with addiction to young mothers who are dealing with homelessness; there will be new enhanced services that go beyond the target population of mothers- which has been consistent over the years.
Project plan
Our mission
Nia Imani Family, Inc. is a safe, affordable transitional housing facility that teaches young mothers with histories of homelessness, poverty, violence, and trauma the life skills needed for planning, decision making and self awareness to prepare them to live independently and create strong, nurturing families for themselves and their children.
Testimonials
Catherine was very organized, and action oriented. We appreciate her assistance in how we communicate who we are and what we do! Our work is more clear now on paper to begin creating marketing materials.
Nia Imani Family, Inc utilizes the seven principle of Kwanza, the celebration of community, family, and culture of Pan-Africans to reconnect with their roots and heritage. It was an interesting project weaving these principles throughout their mission, vision and values.
