Powering Potential requires a fresh take on our Instagram presence to engage new potential donors that aren't familiar with our brand. Our social media strategy is honestly weak and not effective and we'd like to figure out a new approach and what campaigns we can run that can grow our following and donors @poweringpotential

What we have in place
  • We currently have a part-time volunteer social media manager, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have several images and non-profit facts to share, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to to open up Powering Potential's services in a new country and expand education to students in need. We're planning to start work in India in the near future.

Powering Potential relies on our existing donors or connections to our board/volunteers to gain donations outside of grants. We want to connect with a wider audience to educate them about our work and how even a small donation can make a large impact on a child's education.

  • Volunteer Manager shares any existing marketing materials and brand guidelines with Professional

  • Volunteer Manager shares Instagram credentials with Professional, if an existing account exists
  • Professional sets up account with bio and profile picture

Milestone 2: Develop Engagement Strategy
  • Professional recommends other types of accounts to follow and hashtags to use in order to build follower base
  • Professional recommends types and frequency of content to post on account (including posts, stories, and live videos)

Milestone 3: Content Creation Training
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to capture and/or find images to post on Instagram
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to use Instagram editing tools
