Project details

What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We need a volunteer to do a series of videos edits for our Meet the Tenant social media series. We have done 10 out of 16 interviews with tenants on Zoom, asking them questions about themselves and their organizational experience over the last year with COVID-19. We would like to cut up the zoom footage and create multiple short clips to share on IG and FB. The volunteer would browse through the raw footage, hone in on the tenant answers, type CC text, and finalize.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the raw footage for 10 + tenant videos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have specific target questions we want you to focus in the video, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $13,892 , allowing us to focus on our operating expenses throughout the remainder of COVID closure. We hope to open our doors to the public again soon, but in the meantime we need to be frugal with our resources.

In a time of social distancing and limited interaction in person, we are trying to connect our nonprofit tenants to each other and the community in Southern Arizona virtually. We are seeing a dip in Social Media engagement and would like to spice it up with more fun, engaging, and accessible videos about our tenants as individuals and their nonprofit organizations. Our marketing team has an endless amount of work and a volunteer would really help us out!

Project plan

P
Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product
1
Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback
2
Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)
3
Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format

Testimonials

Anita is a gem to work with! She stuck with us for months to ensure that each deliverable was finished. She asks great questions and completes work in a timely manner. She edited a series of zoom recorded videos with poor lighting and sound quality, yet turned them into professional videos with names, logos and closed captioning. We are very grateful to have a volunteer like Anita!
