Project details

What we need
  • Audit of the existing systems and processes; the audit is limited to hiring and termination practices, work scheduling, payroll processing, benefits administration, insurance, and compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Recommendation for process improvements and software providers (if necessary)
  • Implementation of chosen software (if necessary)
  • Training on maintenance tasks
Additional details

Peace Through Action USA will soon be hiring its first employees. Yay! Which also means we need to build from scratch our human resources system to do so. We have board-approved policies, a template position description, and draft people procedures. But we don't have yet in place key onboarding, payroll, or timekeeping components. Help wanted!

What we have in place
  • We currently have draft people procedures and a position description template, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have board-approved policy statements, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to move quickly into our mission delivery phase, and also expend saved dollars to our first community peace project in Maryland.

Peace Through Action USA will soon be hiring its first employees. Yay! Which also means we need to build from scratch our human resources system to do so. We don't want to waste a minute bumbling around and bungling our first hiring and first engagements with our first employees. We want to get our basic HR system in place BEFORE we hire people. We are not a fan of building the plane while flying it when it can be avoided :)
