Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

- We would like to add a web page to our Wordpress CMS site. We would like this page to list individuals that donors are making contributions "In Honor of" or "In Memoriam of". We would like this page to be able to display the images of specific individuals, along with their own text box. We would like for it to be easily updated once this initial project is done.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a login for our Wordpress site with existing pages, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have existing logos and digital color palette, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to move resources towards re-designing our entire website and improving donor user experience.

This project will allow us to honor and thank those individuals who our donors are honoring. This will improve donor stewardship, streamline our donor acknowledgment system for "In Honor/In Memoriam ", and improve the donor website user experience. On our staff, we do not have a professional who would be able to make these changes, so this project will allow us to present a polished finished webpage to the public.

  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
