Training Plan Development
Project details
What we need
- Training goals for a specific population (volunteers, staff, program participants, etc.)
- Advice on what training methods the Organization should pursue to meet its goals (webinars, lectures, print materials, etc.)
- Suggestions for curriculum design, creative messaging, call to actions, methods and timeline
- Budget for implementation (taking the Organization’s resource constraints into consideration)
- A written document that summarizes objectives, strategies and actions steps
Additional details
We are in the design stages of a program to educate employers on aspects of relatively new legislation around fair chance hiring, and the business benefits they could accrue from implementing fair chance hiring as a policy.
We already have access to a range of materials and need guidance on organizing them into a curriculum. The ultimate goal is to create a webinar or series of them to make this education scalable.
What we have in place
- We currently have access to information materials and dedicated staff, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the option of considering additional tech requirements, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,000 , allowing us to it is not clear how much this specific project will save us. I have not projected how much a consultant would cost. We are focusing more on the services and potential for revenue.
The majority of our current revenue is grant derived. A small portion of revenue is earned through a County Probation Dept contract. We have a goal of creating a social enterprise model that will earn revenue for the organization, while creating jobs for our target population. This project will be the first step in providing valuable, actionable information to potential employer partners in the western part of Riverside County were our organization is located.
