- We currently have a draft new mission/vision/values and strategic priorities, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our old mission/vision and organizational plans, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,368 , allowing us to support a butterfly garden in our park for a year.
We are the Friends of the Rail Park, the organization on a mission to bringing the Philadelphia Rail Park, a 3.1 mile linear park and pathway reusing historic rail lines, to life! We are in the midst of an organizational reboot and are working hard to capitalize on a newly energized board, new staff, and renewed excitement about our park and its future phases. Having a fine-tune mission and vision to reflect this energy is the foundation of our big dreams and work going forward.

Our mission
MISSION:
Our mission is to build bold, transformative, and inclusive public space that connects Philadelphia's residents and visitors to the city and each other.
VISION:
Through cross sector partnership and community collaboration, the Rail Park will transform a historic railway into three miles of linear park and pathway, enriching the health, culture, and ecology of the city, and creating inclusive economic opportunity for Philadelphians.
