What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future

Bringing our Facebook page to life.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a business Facebook page, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have photos and videos, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $13,287 , allowing us to purchase the supplies we need in other areas.

This project is important for people to see that we work with elementary, teens and senior. A way of sharing their stories one person at a time.

  • Volunteer Manager shares social media credentials and existing marketing materials with Professional
  • (If applicable) Professional audits existing social media account to determine which content types are performing best
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency

Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

To use the art of storytelling to promote literacy in order to reach the various types of learners in a multicultural society.

We believe in reaching one youth at a time. For Real!

What we do

ROOTS, Inc. programs and activities draw on the belief that 1) stories are powerful, 2) stories have the potential to spark creativity and imagination 3) it is important to teach children to be storytellers and readers so that they can appreciate and grow in their culture. We use the art of storytelling in the classroom, theatre and to help our seniors with their precious memories.
