Google Analytics Set Up & Training

Project Details

What We Need
  • Setup of Google Analytics account and tracking codes for web assets (e.g. mobile apps, website, blog, social media)
  • Training on how to track performance, set up reports and analyze the data collected online
  • Set of guidelines for data collection, interpretation and analysis
What We Have In Place
  • We currently have google analytics linked, but I'd love dashboard support!, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have two Salesforce communities needing GA reporting, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $6,772 , allowing us to use paid advertising to drive more traffic to our site, and convert more page viewers to coaches for kids in under-resourced communities.

Having better website reporting and analytics will allow us to measure success more quickly and save staff time vs. number crunching. It will allow us to make real-time decisions and protect funds to yield a better ROI for new initiatives.

Prep: Information Sharing & Goal Setting
  • Volunteer Manager gives overview of any current use of online statistics and shares admin details for existing Google Analytics account (if it exists)
  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming/overview session, to discuss goals, current web platforms, and existing data on statistics (if any)
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager outline next steps and timeline for the project

Milestone 1: Tracking Setup
  • Professional explains basics of getting started with Google Analytics and sets up tracking codes based on the Organization’s goals
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on setting up reports to collect desired data
  • Professional reviews implementation of tracking codes to ensure they are working and helps troubleshoot as needed

Milestone 2: Training
  • Professional creates guidelines for data interpretation and analysis, and shares any tips for continued used of Google Analytics
  • Professional reviews above guidelines and tips with Volunteer Manager
  • Professional is available for up to two weeks to address questions as Volunteer Manager starts to regularly monitor analytics

We believe every child needs a caring mentor in their lives to realize their full potential; we believe that well-trained coaches turn sports into experiences that last a lifetime.

By partnering with over 500 after school program partners across the country, we have provided over 200,000 underprivileged youth with the opportunity to play sports with the guidance of a caring, well-trained coach.

WHAT we do
We've designed the highest quality program to train, support, and engage sports mentors across the country.

*In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Coaching Corps is activating our resources in new ways to meet the immediate and urgent needs of children and families in the communities we serve. We are mobilizing volunteers in our network and beyond to safely help provide government-approved essential services for those who are struggling with the closure of schools and afterschool programs.
