Project details

What we need
  • Setup of Google Analytics account and tracking codes for web assets (e.g. mobile apps, website, blog, social media)
  • Training on how to track performance, set up reports and analyze the data collected online
  • Set of guidelines for data collection, interpretation and analysis
What we have in place
  • We currently have google analytics linked, but I'd love dashboard support!, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have two Salesforce communities needing GA reporting, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,772 , allowing us to use paid advertising to drive more traffic to our site, and convert more page viewers to coaches for kids in under-resourced communities.

Having better website reporting and analytics will allow us to measure success more quickly and save staff time vs. number crunching. It will allow us to make real-time decisions and protect funds to yield a better ROI for new initiatives.

Prep: Information Sharing & Goal Setting
  • Volunteer Manager gives overview of any current use of online statistics and shares admin details for existing Google Analytics account (if it exists)
  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming/overview session, to discuss goals, current web platforms, and existing data on statistics (if any)
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager outline next steps and timeline for the project

Milestone 1: Tracking Setup
  • Professional explains basics of getting started with Google Analytics and sets up tracking codes based on the Organization’s goals
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on setting up reports to collect desired data
  • Professional reviews implementation of tracking codes to ensure they are working and helps troubleshoot as needed

Milestone 2: Training
  • Professional creates guidelines for data interpretation and analysis, and shares any tips for continued used of Google Analytics
  • Professional reviews above guidelines and tips with Volunteer Manager
  • Professional is available for up to two weeks to address questions as Volunteer Manager starts to regularly monitor analytics

To change the culture of youth sports so that every child, regardless of social or economic circumstance, has access to a positive youth sports experience.

What we do

We believe youth sports is a unique platform to create better life outcomes for all kids regardless of social or economic circumstance . Research shows that a positive youth sports experience teaches teamwork, develops leadership skills, creates opportunities for increased diversity, equity, and inclusion, and builds community.

But the problem is the playing field is not level, and in many areas, the youth sports experience is failing our kids.

Positive Coaching Alliance and Coaching Corps have merged to reimagine the culture of youth sports so that every child has access to a positive youth sports experience to help them be better prepared for life.

We make sure youth sports organizations are more effective in building character by ensuring there are enough well-trained coaches and that parents are equipped to provide more support to their children.

Our vision is to build a world where every child benefits from a positive youth sports experience with a coach who inspires them to become the best version of themselves in the game and in life.
