Project details

What we need
  • Creation of a Facebook Ad Campaign for a pre-determined number of ads including advertising objectives, target audience, budget, and schedule
  • Training on how to successfully update, monitor, and measure the performance of your ads on Facebook
  • Facebook pixel creation, if appropriate
What we have in place
  • As a quick overview, we're looking for someone who can start right away and help us dip our toes into digital advertising. (Placing a few ads for us right away with content I can help provide and strategy recommendations along the way.) We've done a tiny bit of Facebook ads/boosting posts in house, as well as maintain our Google adwords with dollars we receive as a nonprofit but we don't have in house ad expertise and historically haven't had much of a spend until now.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to Put that money right back into our animal lifesaving operations.

We're at an amazing turning point in our organization and ready to take our marketing to the next level to support our fundraising around cat and dog lifesaving in Austin and our efforts helping animal shelters all over too.

Our mission

Our story hasn't necessarily been for the faint of heart. Austin Pets Alive! began when vulnerable, homeless pets truly needed us the most. When we were first imagined, Austin had a kill-rate of 87% - today, we have a save-rate of 97%. Through hardships, we have found inspiration; and through this inspiration, we have saved lives. Learn more about our journey to becoming - and maintaining our status as - the largest No Kill city in the country below.

What we do

APA! operates a local rescue and adoption shelter in Austin, which pulls in at-risk animals from Austin's city shelters as well as animals from across Texas and the U.S., and specialized in medical and behavioral programs that offer lifesaving to animals not traditionally saved in shelters across the country. APA! is also a national thought leader in animal welfare, and currently is the backbone organization for the national, collaborative Human Animal Support Services project, which works to revolutionize animal welfare by merging it with human welfare. Data and research are key elements in both its local and national operations.
