What we need
  • Well written copy for an email series (3-5 emails), or significant edits to an existing campaign
Additional details

Email series that Grabs attention via head or heart, with pictures, infographics & text, that informs them of the threat/potential catastrophic devastation to local River and hence Lake Michigan, and MOTIVATES them to ACT! To act they click our Take Action button which sends pre-written messages to regulators, And to Donate, or Both! Imminent threat to this precious fresh water must be stopped. We need an effective message that results in Action from Lk MI area stakeholders.

What we have in place
  • We currently have data, pictures, videos, links for more information, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the will to help you succeed & almost nothing for a budget, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,632 , allowing us to use our meager budget for legal expenses, & to reach the 10 million people whose drinking water could be ruined, to Take Action and Donate. We're David to mining's Goliath. Your help is vital.

To fight this sulfide minerals mine 50 yards from the largest watershed U.P. here, it takes going to court, since the Michigan law to permit mines was written and meant to Permit, not deny, this sort of mine even though 100% of them pollute, and catastrophic toxic tailings dams failures happen ~ every 8 months worldwide. We need to pay expert mining authorities to review the applications for permits & testify for us. Legal fees/expenses are $$. We must vastly increase our reach and fundraising.

Our mission

Working together to protect our water, air, soils, aquatic life, wildlife, and people from the dangers of open-pit metallic sulfide mining.

Our mission is to work together to stop
the proposed "Back Forty" massive sulfide Mine, thereby SAVING the Menominee River.
