What we need

We are needing a flier created for an outside program scheduled for May 4. The program is "Clean Water Day" for the outside lawn of the state capitol. It is planned to be a small capacity event with a half dozen exhibitors. The purpose of the flier is to provide to state senators and representatives to invite them to visit the Clean Water Day activities. The purpose of the day is to highlight the importance of clean water and to raise this awareness with state legislators for this topic.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a draft agenda for the event, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an image library, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,550 , allowing us to use more of our dollars for education and stewardship activities for Missouri's rivers and streams

This is the first year for a "Clean Water Day" at the Missouri state capitol. We had started planning this event in 2019, and now are adapting it due to ongoing Covid precautions. The event will help build relationships with state legislators and the people and organizations that work for clean water in Missouri. We have had a recent trend of removal of regulations in the state, and we hope to build relationships and increase awareness of our legislature to encourage support of clean water.

Stream Teams United promotes and supports Missouri Stream Teams and Stream Team Associations. We facilitate education of Stream Teams and the general public in order to build an appreciation and knowledge of Missouri stream resources. We support stewardship projects to improve the health of Missouri's rivers and streams. We advocate for clean water, provide information to Missouri citizens, and serve as a united voice for healthy Missouri waters.
