What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We are hoping to create a video to share with our community and our donors to show what we do. We are hoping to use it in presentations, in grant requests, and on our website.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a recent video that we created as a thank you to our donors, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some pre covid videos and photos. We can have a script made, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to spend our money on library and program supplies, and much needed capital fixes from a year of having our library closed.

This video will tell our story in a meaningful and impactful way that flat words cannot portray. We want our current and potential donors, families, community members, and community partners to have an emotional reaction to our mission and we feel this is better communicated via video.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
