What we need
  • 6-8 coaching sessions with a staff member
  • Actionable steps and advice to address an ongoing managerial issue
  • Assessment of the effectiveness of the Organization's leadership team
Additional details

Our agency is seeking CBA/TA for Leadership Coaching. We would like to assess the effectiveness of the current management team and strategize methods for improving. Additionally, we could benefit from coaching non management staff to tap into their leadership capabilities (ex. accountability, self sufficiency, professional maturity, etc).

What we have in place
  • We have three Conference Rooms and a Training Room.

    We currently have 5 Program Managers in need of improving their management skills. Additionally, we have at least 7 non management staff that can be mandated to attend the training. All attendees will have access to note taking devices (ex. laptops, desktops, paper + pens, etc).

    Any additional tools, can be provided if advanced notice given.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,978 , allowing us to continue to provide free HIV, STI and HEP C testing and treatment. Additionally, it allows us to continue to offer free medical services including behavioral health services. Or hire additional staff.

This project is important because it will provide Professional Development opportunities to our staff. Having knowledgable and informed staff are imperative to the continued growth and effective operation of our agency. This directly correlates with the impact we have within our community.

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss perceived areas of strength and area of improvement, leadership style, and assessment of team motivation and morale
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager decide on specific areas to focus on and goals for coaching sessions
  • Professional communicates if feedback from other members of the Organization will be necessary

Milestone 2: Coaching Sessions
  • In-depth discussions may include issues such as strategy and goal-setting, program management, personnel management, and board management
  • Various techniques may be employed by the Leadership Coach to achieve the desired results

Milestone 3: Wrap-up and Learnings
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional evaluate lessons learned and progress made
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss areas and actionable items to focus on going forward
