Project details

What we need
  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details

Twice a year we produce a print newsletter that is distributed widely across Saint Paul and Minneapolis, MN. We are in need of a beautiful illustration to use as the cover image for the spring-summer and also the fall-winter editions. The images should accurately portray a selected location on the Mississippi River and convey the essence of the park and surrounding area. We want to draw people in with beautiful imagery and entice them to read our newsletter.

What we have in place
  • We currently have past design examples and reference photos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated project manager, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to plant more trees along the river to fight the effects of climate change, fund field trips on the river for urban schools, and create free community programming connecting people to the river.

This is one of the few marketing assets that we actually print, and it is often used as introductory material for people who are just learning about us or have never heard about us. Having a beautiful cover will encourage people to pick up the newsletter, take it home, and maybe even read it! We distribute this newsletter at all of our events, at many rec centers, visitor centers, and museums throughout the city, and mail it to about 2,500 people.
