We are in the process of developing our five year strategic plan and a SWOT analysis will be a key component of this process.

What we have in place
  • We currently have information regarding operations, program data, finances, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have marketing materials, organizational chart, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,888 , allowing us to focus our resources on meeting the direct service needs of domestic violence survivors.

This project will help our organization make critical decisions that will affect our growth, services and achievement of our mission over the next 5 years.

Prep: Distribution of Materials & Goal Setting
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with information regarding current operations (financial, programmatic, physical and human resources), Organization-wide or program goals and mission, and market analysis
  • Professional facilitates meeting with Organization’s leadership to discuss goals for the SWOT analysis
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager outline next steps and timeline for the project (including individual meetings between Professional and members of Organization such as functional heads, board members, etc.)

Milestone 1: Initial Analysis
  • Professional analyzes the information shared by the Organization
  • Professional researches any additional information about external competitive landscape based on the market analysis
  • Professional conducts interviews with different Organization stakeholders for their perspectives on strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and threats

  • Professional drafts overview and analysis of Organization’s strengths and weaknesses

Our mission

Promise Place exists to prevent domestic violence through awareness programs, educational training, and providing safe environments for victims and their families utilizing legal advocacy, emergency shelter and transitional housing.

What we do

Promise Place provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and their children. These services include emergency shelter, a 24 hr crisis hotline, legal advocacy, weekly support groups, relocation assistance, financial assistance, crisis counseling, safety planning, a teen dating violence prevention program in all area middle and high schools.
