Additional Details

As a start-up, we've been moving forward fast and are now ready to make sure that we have a "look" that we can grow with, and that is adaptable to numerous applications, as well as other regions.

I'm the ED of a climate solutions NGO in the San Francisco Bay Area. We're on a 60-day sprint to launch a major campaign event that involves students & partners throughout the region, coinciding w/ Earth Day on 4/22. Our website is being rewritten, but here's the gist: www.DrawdownBayArea.org.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have 2 draft logos & content that can help tell the visual story, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have website, FB, lots of data, collateral, etc., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to We're in "start-up" mode, unpaid & are just starting a fundraising effort. We're in a 60 day sprint to launch publicly, w/ an event on Earth Day. Our logo & "look" to be consistent across platforms.

DRAWDOWN Bay Area focuses on the transition from fossil fuels to 100% renewable energy. Our "theory of change" engages community, business & government sectors via a broad campaign to encourage a significant % of community members & sectors to take bold climate actions, from personal actions to major policy changes.
Our branding needs to be "mainstream", convey partnerships, collaboration, and environmental action without being doom & gloom.

About The Org

Our Mission

DRAWDOWN Bay Area is the non-profit organization leading the Regional 2030 Climate Challenge, a public-private partnership to rapidly implement high-value climate solutions and dramatically reduce the region's greenhouse gas emissions. This is a collaborative initiative that leverages existing efforts to meet the climate crisis challenge, while adding new resources and strategies across all sectors in the nine county San Francisco Bay Area.

What We Do

"DRAWDOWN" refers to the point in time when the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere reach a peak and begin to decline, year over year.

DRAWDOWN Bay Area brings together regional stakeholders in business, government, and the community, in a collaborative network focused on implementable solutions, policy frameworks, and communication. Working with the premise that this is the last decade to implement solutions that will slow global warming, DRAWDOWN Bay Area leverages best practices to effectively and dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Climate change impacts all aspects of our society - health, disadvantaged communities, the economy - the list is long. We know what the solutions are, but they need to be implemented at speed and scale in order to make a difference. DRAWDOWN Bay Area promotes and supports the implementation of regional solutions to the global climate challenge.
