What we have in place
- We currently have staff dedicated to the project, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an extensive operations manual, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,806 , allowing us to provide holistic services for a victim of power-based violence.
This agency has the opportunity to create infrastructure and new positions that have never existed before.

Our mission
JCADA'S mission is to support victims of intimate partner violence to become empowered and live safely; educate the community about intimate partner violence and the appropriate responses; and prevent future generations from suffering intimate partner violence.
What we do
JCADA serves all victims and survivors of power-based violence, as well as their friends and families, who are 14 years of age and older currently living in the greater Washington area. JCADA's services are free of charge and provided without regard to race, national origin, ability, background, faith, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation or immigration status.
All JCADA clinicians are licensed and have expertise in trauma and the complexities of power-based violence. Services include: Safety Planning, Crisis Counseling, Individual Counseling & Therapy & Alternative Therapy Programs.
JCADA's legal services fall into two categories: direct representation and Legal Access. They can be accessed in addition to or separately from clinical services.
JCADA advocates assist existing/ enrolled clients with many other needs that fall outside traditional legal or clinical support. Services include: Language Interpretation, Public Assistance Applications, Court Accompaniment, Financial Planning & Case Management.
JCADA offers a variety of different prevention, training and educational workshops for groups and individuals looking to promote healthy relationships, create safe school, work, and religious communities, and prevent the vicious cycle of power-based violence. Each program is tailored to a group's specific audience, goal, and needs.
