We need to advertise for an Executive Director for our organization and would like help in writing the best description possible for the position.

What we have in place
  • We are raising funds for the position. Here is a brief description of the organization:

    Organized locally by the non profit volunteers at Wheel B. Herd, Slow Roll Buffalo began in 2014 as a free and inclusive way to bring people from all walks of life together and reconnect our community. It has now become by far the largest offshoot in the global Slow Roll network where thousands have been gathering in Detroit on Monday nights for many years. Other Slow Roll cities include Clev

This project will save us $1,765 , allowing us to pay an E or other potential staff.

We have been an independent non-profit for nearly a year and would like to hire a dedicated ED to offer leadership; someone that is dedicated to contining to build our inclusive community.

Founded in 2014, Slow Roll Buffalo connects communities through guided rides for bicyclists of all ages and skill levels. With a slow pace and volunteer squad that keeps riders safe and social, each ride features a different host site and unique route around the city, including stops to regroup and meet neighborhood stakeholders before returning for an afterparty with food, drinks, music and fellowship.
