Project details

What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

Hi,
I'm the ED of a climate solutions NGO in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We're launching a major "reveal" of our organization to coincide with Earth Day on 4/22. Our website is being rewritten, but you can get the gist here: www.DrawdownBayArea.org.
The ideal partner for this project is someone who lives in the SF Bay Area & is familiar with local media potential: social & traditional, paid and free, & can maximize SEO. Bonus if you speak the language of "climate solutions"!

What we have in place
  • We currently have Slide decks, website, lots of content, & background info, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have partners and a regional network, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to continue our work in "start-up" mode. We're starting to fundraise, but I've been working pro-bono to get this launched.

DRAWDOWN Bay Area is poised to leverage the work that is being done to address the climate crisis and amp up, at speed and scale, the implementation of solutions throughout the 9 Bay Area counties. Our focus is on transitioning from the use of fossil fuels to 100% renewable energy, by engaging "civil society"/community, business, and government in a abroad campaign that will engage a significant % of our communities, encouraging bold climate action.

Our mission

Act Now Bay Area promotes and supports the implementation of regional solutions to the global climate challenge.

Act Now Bay Area connects Business, Community, and Government in the nine Bay Area counties to existing climate solutions, best practices, and policy frameworks to dramatically reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and achieve ambitious 2030 climate goals in transportation, energy, and building sectors.

We see a future where concerted citizen action, strategic business leadership, and proactive government engagement have achieved the essential 2030 climate goals that will help reverse global warming and that, collaboratively, the San Francisco Bay Area has made a world of difference for future generations.

What we do

Act Now Bay Area is leading the Regional 2030 Climate Challenge.

Act Now Bay Area is the "one-stop-shop" that helps answer everyone's question: "I'm just one person - what can I possibly do that will make a difference? I don't even know where to start!"

Climate disruption impacts all aspects of our society - health, disadvantaged communities, the economy - the list is long. This is the last decade to implement solutions that can slow global warming - but those solutions need to be implemented at speed and scale, and we believe that everyone has a part to play.

Testimonials

Denise Donaldson has been a dream to work with. I am so grateful to Catchafire for connecting us - serendipitous luck for both of us.
