Project details

What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

We have Facebook and Instagram accounts but aren't consistently posting on either and really don't know how frequently we should post and what type of content is most engaging. A content calendar will help us efficiently post on a regularly basis to engage followers and grow the number of followers.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Instagram and Facebook accounts, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have images, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to invest in hiring staff to manage community outreach.

Our scope of work covers a wide variety of heritage-based topics (natural resources, cultural traditions, historic places, recreation), as well as a large geographic area with a lot of partner organizations and businesses. A social media content calendar will help us better connect with the various interests of followers and share the heritage experiences of the region with a larger audience.

  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software
