What we need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
Additional details

We are launching a nonprofit blog and would like assistance with content creation and copywriting.

What we have in place
  • The blog has not yet launched but we are collecting ideas for content. The blog will be a combination of inspirational stories, quotes, news articles on the latest in the nonprofit world and more. The blogs will be short and fun to read. and written well. We're looking to pick the brains of communications pros on what would make a successful blog and a successful blog launch.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to continue our focus on our DEIJ values and mission by using that time to host other webinars and events.

This project will allow us to achieve our goals of expanding our DEIJ values. We plan to use the blog to post the many achievements of our BIPOC led nonprofits and more.

  • Volunteer Manager provides brand messaging guide and marketing strategy (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager communicates initial concept for deliverables to be created

Milestone 1: Information Gathering
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss goals of copywriting deliverables, target audience, and desired style and tone of writing

Milestone 2: First Draft
  • Professional shares first drafts of copy with Volunteer Manager for feedback with respect to style, tone, clarity, and length

Milestone 3: Finalize Copy
  • Professional incorporates feedback and submits final copy for review
