What we need
- Training goals for a specific population (volunteers, staff, program participants, etc.)
- Advice on what training methods the Organization should pursue to meet its goals (webinars, lectures, print materials, etc.)
- Suggestions for curriculum design, creative messaging, call to actions, methods and timeline
- Budget for implementation (taking the Organization’s resource constraints into consideration)
- A written document that summarizes objectives, strategies and actions steps
Additional details
We would like advice on training methods to best engage participants and ensure fidelity/adherence to our best practices, and a plan/budget that we can use in grant proposals to help us fund the development of our training.
What we have in place
- We currently have learning objectives for the training and some materials, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have commitment by our staff and Board, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,000 , allowing us to invest in technology as needed to deliver the training remotely.
Developing this training will help us expand our reach to new states where there currently isn't a Parent to Parent program. A robust training will ensure adherence to our best practices by all of our members throughout the country.

Our mission is to support a national network of Parent to Parent programs to ensure access to quality emotional support for families of individuals with disabilities and/or special health care needs.

At Parent to Parent USA, when someone asks what we do, we say we empower and support parents, nationwide.
Why? Because we understand being a parent of a child with special needs can be a challenge -- we've been there!
The journey is filled with hills and valleys and sometimes feels a little overwhelming. So, we're driven to ensure no parent feels alone. Ever.
