This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to hire more staff when we enter a new country.
The World Mosquito Program works around the world to reduce the threat of mosquito-borne diseases. Using our cutting-edge technology, we collaborate with communities, local health authorities and non-government organisations to prevent the transmission of mosquito-borne diseases without risking human health or natural ecosystems. Amongst the existing communication channels, social media play the key ones in dispersing our message to the global audience.

Our mission
Dengue, Zika, chikungunya and yellow fever are transmitted by the one mosquito vector, and affect millions of people predominately living in the world's poorest communities. The WHO has identified dengue as one of the top ten global health threats of 2019. Climate change is expected to increase the global population at risk of these diseases. The World Mosquito Program (WMP) has developed an innovative solution, using Wolbachia infected mosquitoes, that has been shown to be efficacious, highly cost-effective and acceptable to communities. We plan to deliver this novel intervention to protect 100 million people within the next 5 years.
