Hiring Strategy
Project details
What we need
- Recommendations on active and passive recruiting and proper channels to pursue candidates
- Guidelines for hiring process, including order and number of interview rounds, reference checks, and general best practices for an inclusive interview
- Effective interviewing techniques and clear, consistent standards for evaluating candidates
- Tips for negotiating details such as compensation package and title
What we have in place
- We currently have a list of duties, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a pending grant, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,806 , allowing us to make more progress with outreach and community involvement, our plans are to move into some partnership building for long term environment assessment and planning and we want to be well organized.
The group is made of entirely volunteers and potentially will have a grant that will offer some contract wages that we want to offer as contracts. We would like some good advise on moving forward with this concept

Our mission
The goal of the Aravaipa Watershed Conservation Alliance is to preserve and
sustain the Aravaipa Valley's natural landscapes by means of watershed and
rangeland restoration. The AWCA will create a renewed environment that
supports wildlife, grassroots community education, and a holistic agricultural
environment, all while limiting fragmented lands to promote a complete and
functioning landscape for current and future generations.
