What we need
  • Update to or creation of one new HR policy or procedure, such as any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety & Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation & Benefits policies, Work From Home Policies, etc.
Additional details

We anticipate returning to more in-person programming as the weather gets nicer in the Pittsburgh region. We'd like support in creating a COVID-19 organizational policy that we can share internally and also with our external stakeholders.

What we have in place
  • While we don't have a current policy to work off of, we do have a dedicated Executive Driector who will work with you to clarify our circumstances and the nature of our programming.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,480 , allowing us to support more youth-led climate action projects in and around Pittsburgh!

Our programming is most effective when we can be face-to-face with our students and teachers. This policy will hopefully provide the necessary safety protocols so that we all stay safe while increasing our impact.

  • Professional reviews any existing policy materials and gathers clarifying information
  • Volunteer Manager explains what they're looking for in this policy
  • Professional determines if changes need to be made to existing policy(s)
  • Professional determines if the Volunteer Manager needs to collect additional information from employees (i.e., survey results)

Milestone 1: Draft of Policy
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional review a draft of the policy, and determine next steps (i.e., buy-in/approval from additional parties)

Milestone 2: Wrap-up & Learnings
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional confirm final policy
  • Professional makes recommendations for how to distribute or communicate new policy to employees
