What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information

We have a draft employee handbook which we'd like someone to review to be sure it meets all federal and Maine state requirements. It is otherwise written and structured.
What we have in place
- We currently have nearly finished draft, prepared with NonProfitHR guidelines, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff person happy to help, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to present our programs, build a new student-facing website, and create a student-led podcast. These keep kids and adults connected to our violence-prevention programs when we cannot be in person.
Our employees need to know what the org is legally required to provide them, as well as our expectations of them.

Our mission
Our mission is to end all forms of male violence and self-harm and to advance gender equity by supporting the development of self-aware, empathetic boys and men.
What we do
Our Reducing Sexism and Violence Program is a comprehensive, youth-focused violence-prevention program that supports the healthy development of boys as a means of ending male violence against people of all genders.
We provide curriculum programs to middle- and high-school students in schools and to educators and youth-serving adults in workshops. We also train youth-serving adults to deliver our curriculum in the communities where they live and work.
We work throughout Maine and are expanding to other New England states. Our online programs are available through the US.
