Project details

What we need
  • Training goals for a specific population (volunteers, staff, program participants, etc.)
  • Advice on what training methods the Organization should pursue to meet its goals (webinars, lectures, print materials, etc.)
  • Suggestions for curriculum design, creative messaging, call to actions, methods and timeline
  • Budget for implementation (taking the Organization’s resource constraints into consideration)
  • A written document that summarizes objectives, strategies and actions steps
Additional details

We are looking at creating a train the trainer manual for our new training program, Visibility Matters, which is designed to train providers how to appropriately care for LGBTQ+ older adults in a culturally responsive and appropriate manner.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Visibility Matters materials, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Staff expertise in Visibility Matters, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,000 , allowing us to develop train the trainer materials for Visibility Matters

PCOA is committed to increasing the organizations awareness and responsiveness to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility. Visibility Matters is one step in that process and having a train the trainer model, allows PCOA to further disseminate the valuable information.
