R&R's proposed project support for our new program called the Youth Visionary Collective (YVC). Our mission is based on the importance of intercultural exchange and this retreat would enable our youth leaders to actively engage with our mission and connect beyond borders, and to strengthen relations with one of our partners, the Amah Mutsun people. R&R is asking for all $20,000. R&R's YVC actively seeks to promote peace amongst different cultures, thus meeting the funder's requirements.

How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to -Pay for services our organization requires, guest speakers, subscriptions, YVC activities

The project we are proposing is to support this program through an in-person planning retreat. This would directly help R&R achieve its goal of expanding the YVC program by breaking down the barriers of online interaction and international communication. This retreat reflects our mission of "intercultural collaboration," and the connections made will directly impact our ability to interact with the communities we serve as well as show our supporters how seriously we take our mission.

By teaching one another and expanding diverse cultural world views and practices in relation to taking care of Earth, we transform ourselves and defend and steward nature.
